Bueller?...Bueller?...Bueller?

On October 31st, 2008 we are recreating the parade scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off at the Village Halloween Parade. This will involve tens of thousands of people breaking out into the world's largest Beatles sing-a-long.

We want the streets to erupt in joy and for it to be one of the greatest experiences of everyone's lives.

We will need thousands of secret audience agents to get the ball rolling by imitating the extras in the scene and inspiring your neighbors in the audience to do the same.

We believe first and foremost in the power of joy and hope to celebrate this principle with you everyday for the rest of our collective lives.

Clammy Hands

Hello friends,

Over the next few days, we’re organizing some of the groups in the clip that will need a bit more coordination.  Talk amongst your friends and let us know if you are interested in being in any of these groups (i.e., the dancers on the stairs, the beer wenches, or the marching band).  Participation would involve about 3 hours of rehearsal time the weekend before the parade.

Regarding the marching band:  We would love to hear from you if you happen to have a few tuba’s laying around.  We would also like hear from you if are crafty and enjoy spray painting things gold.

Additionally, we would like to hear from anyone that closely resembles Mr. Rooney.  You probably won’t be in the parade but we’d like to offer you some gummy worms.
