Bueller?...Bueller?...Bueller?

On October 31st, 2008 we are recreating the parade scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off at the Village Halloween Parade. This will involve tens of thousands of people breaking out into the world's largest Beatles sing-a-long.

We want the streets to erupt in joy and for it to be one of the greatest experiences of everyone's lives.

We will need thousands of secret audience agents to get the ball rolling by imitating the extras in the scene and inspiring your neighbors in the audience to do the same.

We believe first and foremost in the power of joy and hope to celebrate this principle with you everyday for the rest of our collective lives.

Project Bueller:  Won’t Stop Believing

Hello friends,

How was your weekend?—nevermind, touchy subject.  The song should be playing now and I’d like for you all to heed the lyrics and assume turbo optimistic mode.

It’s the soundtrack for Operation: Macy’s.  For new readers, allow me to recap:  Project Bueller is trying to reschedule in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  We got hurricaned out this past weekend, and now we are hoping to make up for it with an even more outragous restaging of the Ferris Joy-ball.

So, with that said, we will need your help.  Especially you bloggers, press people, and all around Bueller enthusiasts.  We need you all to keep spreading the word about Project Bueller so that Macy’s won’t be able to turn us down.

Also, if any of you know anyone at the Macy’s Parade headquarters, please let us know—better yet, put a good word in for us.

That’s all for now! Enjoy the rest of your day and be excellent to each other!!
