Bueller?...Bueller?...Bueller?

On October 31st, 2008 we are recreating the parade scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off at the Village Halloween Parade. This will involve tens of thousands of people breaking out into the world's largest Beatles sing-a-long.

We want the streets to erupt in joy and for it to be one of the greatest experiences of everyone's lives.

We will need thousands of secret audience agents to get the ball rolling by imitating the extras in the scene and inspiring your neighbors in the audience to do the same.

We believe first and foremost in the power of joy and hope to celebrate this principle with you everyday for the rest of our collective lives.

Project Bueller: Who & Why (not in that order)
It was all fate really: this project came about after Kara (who does not actually have gray hair) felt the undeniable urge to buy a white fringed leather jacket she found in a store on the lower east side. After an attempt to wear this jacket out to the bars as a normal person, it become obvious that she would have to plan a themed event in order to justify the $60 that could have been spent on a more necessary expense, such as a doughnut maker (no really, i saw it in a magazine). Mina, being a very wise and rational individual, immediately saw Ferris Bueller’s girlfriend Sloan hidden behind the mask of cowgirls and ranch hands. The rest is history.
Mina Karimi and Kara Suhey are a (performance) art duo currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. They are in it to win it and wish you a most excellent day.
